When the sky is gloomy-grey
and the sun seems to have gone away
Look up to the darkening clouds
Somewhere above that temporary sun’s shroud
Is vast, azure, unlimited yonder and a bright, blazing Sol.
It begins to rain; little kisses on flora and fauna
“my darlings just needed a bit of watering”
Mother nature says as she smooths back the rain curtain
And there is the sun, back again.
