One scoop


July was the national ice cream month.

But with August, I though I’d ease the current heat wave a little bit with a scoop of adzuki bean ice cream.

When I originally saw the flavor, I wasn’t too sure about trying. I am familiar with sweetened adzuki bean paste for bun stuffing, but not as an ice cream flavor.

Luckily, I had a taste test on a mini spoon and decided to buy a scoop of it to enjoy.

It looks pinkish, it smells and tastes of jelly beans. There are little bits of adzuki bean skin in it.

And yes, I drowned it with some fresh, hot matcha. ^_^
